Thanks Miranda for coming to visit.
This is from the Arsenal of Faces recording sessions… as I recall it was a single take into a field recorder.
I added a bit of vocal harmony. Mostly imitating cwix’s. Sorry cwix.
Alright, who garfunkeled in this one? Who was it??
Credit: Brary on the trombone!
This songs about Eddy’s room. Again, my bad.
So I have 4 more till I’m caught up. 2(+) songs a day, all the time, forever! (thanks ButterSafe)
Post one of at least two today. I just finished Norwegian Wood last night and then I realized I had written things that needed to be recorded. Not to complain too much, but my interface has been cutting out ever other take. It’s been happening since the beginning of this project, but I guess I didn’t want to acknowledge how much of an issue this was causing me at first. Anyway, it really came into play on this track. I got so fucking frustrated. Anyway I ended up leaving in some of the dropouts on some of the vocal tracks. Between that and the construction crew it really changed the direction of the mix. Norwegian Wood was really good by the way. My production has gotten a little aggressive. I guess I shouldn’t hide what I am. I could not subject anyone to these recording conditions though. I’ve lost small amounts of a lot of takes. It’s like bailing yourself out with a cullender.
I know you’ll love my production decisions on this one (Dan will especially love them). It’s the only way I could love it was to drown it. I might remix it in the morn… who am I kidding? It’s perfect! Sometimes you just have to say “Fuck you!” straight into your own face.
More or less back on track.
My day off.
I woke Eddy up with this one… Sorry Eddy.
I can’t tell what happened here.
It had devils in it.
At least that means something to me.
